Angel Tree Tradition

Providing Christmas gifts to children who might not otherwise receive any since 1979.

Through the Angel Tree Program individuals and partnering corporations can provide less fortunate children with personalized gifts of clothes and toys. Last year, almost a million children received Christmas gifts who would otherwise have had none. The program began in 1979 when Lt. Colonel Charles and Shirley White worked with the River Ridge Shopping Mall in Lynchburg, Virginia, to provide toys and clothes for children at Christmastime.
